What have we learned about the breath, about mindfulness and ease?
what is there left to "let slide off your shoulders"?
The more we begin to awaken and uncover the connection of breath, body, mind through the art of pranayama (yogic breath practice), meaning "right action, right breath", the more we begin to see and feel the breath not with the mind but with the body. We begin to feel the sensations of the breath as it merges with us, our bodies, minds and spirits, wholly...as if we and the breath become the active nature of the body, the energy, the subtle body. We sense not just the breath moving the body, but we find the body moving and shaping the breath as it merges with us, as the current down the stream of our bodies. we can direct the flow, we can work and respond with and to it.
The breath is easy ;)
We flow with the breath and create the currents as it ripples through our senses.
We become one with our own force.
And no, that is not a Star Wars entendre lol....
Really, we master the breath, collecting and directing our energy through the breath in the body.
We begin to sense pranayama as we become intimate with the nature of the breath, not with the mind alone converting it into an action, but rather we begin to sense it with our own subtle energy body, the core of the physical... the energy of the physical. The energetic body then relates to that purusa, that unchanging nature of our soul essence. That energetic body radiates through the physical showing us what lies within that essence, which creates that witness attitude that yoga teaches us: we are not our thoughts, or our bodies, or even our energy swirling within.... but WE are that ESSENCE....
And that essence emerges as we tap into the subtleties of the nature of the breath and the subtleties it awakens in our mechanics of body and mind that house that essence.
In turn.... we tap into that which is hidden by illusion, that which is hidden from sight.
And there, is the lifting of the veil... our own apocalyptic change emerging from the soul, the essence of our being.
We find our "I am" that exists without even our concept of time and space.
We tap into our hidden empowerment. right action, right breath for every experience.
And that's not the classic right and wrong, good or bad....right action right breath is about feeding our life. And it occurs Spontaneously when we connect to that subtle observer, that force, within ourselves and within the breath.
We already know the truth.... we're just waiting for ourselves to lift our own veil called our minds.
"It is the lie in the mind that hurts, not the truth"
This subtle nature of the breath reveals the core of everything through mindful awareness... we know more of truth than we believe we do, and as we uncover the subtleties we become sensitive to what IS, and sensitive to the flow of the cosmos through our inner connection to that subtle flow of breath, of life.
We merge with our spirit, body, and mind in the present.
We allow things to "slide off our shoulders" in a mindful display of awareness.
We flow with What Is, with all things.
